Liquid for antiseptic treatment of root canals

Contains camphor, chlorophenol, lidocaine hydrochloride (5 %), and eugenol

Lidocaine hydrochloride provides access to carious cavity and neutralizes pain expansion in nerve fibers, thus protecting the pulp and enabling penetration of all components in hard tooth tissues. Eugenol has sedative properties and decreases aggressive influence on the pulp and soft tissues. Chlorophenol, eugenol and m-cresol are broad spectrum antiseptics that have a slightly mummifying effect on nerve fibers. Camphor mitigates the impact of chlorophenol.

INDICATIONS

• Anesthesia for traumatic and acute pulpitis before applying devitalizing paste (Devital, TehnoDent), and for periodontitis
• The product can be used as a long-acting compress in the pulpitis treatment
